MEET THE GUIDES
Our small team of kilted, passionate and professional guides are here to ensure you get the most out of your time with us. We are you tour guide, driver, photographer and concierge. We love everything about Scotland’s past, present and future and we look forward to sharing the story of our great wee nation.
I am a proud Scot and love showing people around the best wee country in the world! When I first moved to Edinburgh from the country near Stirling I worked behind a desk in a bank. I quickly realised that the corporate life wasn’t for me and I set out on a career in the tourism industry!
I was a tour guide for 3 years before working an a different part of Scottish tourism, but the desire to get back on the road has lead me to join Experienced Tours and show our guests the best Scotland has to offer.
I specialise in day-tours from Edinburgh but also take guests on multi-day tours across Scotland.
In 2012, I moved away from being a desk jockey and started guiding minibus tours from Edinburgh. Driving the minibus tours gave me the chance to share my passion for Scotland with visitors from around the world.
In 2017, I decided to jump ship to the private tour guiding industry. In smaller groups there is much more opportunity to get to know my clients and tailor the tours to their interests. I used to talk at my customers, now I talk with them!
I love taking visitors to the places that make Scotland so unique and varied. I’m looking forward to discovering the many hidden gems with you!
I’ve been a guide for over 8 years, originally working with a small minibus tour company taking visitors to the Isle of Skye and Loch Ness. I love exploring all the interesting nooks and crannies that Scotland has to offer.
I joined Experienced Tours to show visitors to Scotland both the big sights but also the ‘off the beaten track’ hidden gems along the route.I enjoy showing visitors our rich history and modern society that makes Scotland so interesting!
I specialise in multi-day itineraries to the Highlands and Islands of Scotland.
